Big name of the Bollywood industry Rajkumar Hirani is accused of sexual harassment by a woman who worked with him in a movie Sanju. However, Hirani denied all the allegations. A woman writes a e-mail to Vinod Chopra who was a co-producer of Sanju. The woman, who calls herself as "an assistant", alleged that Hirani sexually abused her more than once between March and September 2018. She said she maintained a frontage of normalcy regarding Hirani's behaviour as she needed to hold on to her job as her father was suffering from a terminal illness. Kangna Ranauat starrer movie Manikarnika is ready to release on Friday 24 January. The film is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi and her war against the British East India Company, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. And if the trailer is anything to go by, the blazing Kangana has taken the character of courageous Rani Laxmi Bai quite well. Not only Rani Laxmi Bai, but the film also sees the story of another warrior, Jhalkari Bai , played by Ankita Lokhande . And at a time when women in Bollywood are finding their own voice both onscreen and offscreen, it's exciting to see a film like Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi finally being helmed and well, releasing.
