Rajkumar Hirani The Director of Sanju is accused of sexual harrasement

Big name of the Bollywood industry Rajkumar Hirani is accused of sexual harassment by a woman who worked with him in a movie Sanju. However, Hirani denied all the allegations. A woman writes a e-mail to Vinod Chopra who was a co-producer of Sanju. The woman, who calls herself as "an assistant", alleged that Hirani sexually abused her more than once between March and September 2018.

She said she maintained a frontage of normalcy regarding Hirani's behaviour as she needed to hold on to her job as her father was suffering from a terminal illness. Although it open up a debate and many people come in support of this issue.
On asking Sonam Kapoor she said, I know Raju Hirani very well. I have known him for many years and have huge respect for him as a film-maker and as a man.I think we should reserve judgment and be very responsible before we say anything more on this subject because we don't need to derail this movement. As the media, one doesn't understand the importance of their writing and voices.
So wait, do proper research, and understand what is actually happening before passing judgments. I always want to believe a woman, but suppose that is not true, how bad would it be for the movement, especially if it is somebody like Raju Hirani?

Rajkummar Rao whose movie is going to be released on Friday in which Rajkumar Hirani worked as co-producer. After dropping Rajkumar Hirani name from the movie Aik Larki ko Dekha to Aisa Laga Rajkummar Rao said “It was absolutely shocking when I read the article. The Ek Ladki Ko... team took the decision to revoke his credit from the film and I fully respect and stand by that decision,” the actor said in a wide-ranging interview.

When asked why most of his colleagues from the industry were silent—many have even refused to comment— Rao said, "It’s come as a shock to everyone and specifically to those who’ve known him. People who’ve known him for years, I believe, are waiting to hear him out before forming an opinion.”
