 In "LSD 2," a conceptual sequel to his 2010 thriller "Love Sex Aur Dhokha," Dibakar Banerjee delves deep into the shadowy realms of cyberspace, uncovering layers of cynicism and seaminess. This follow-up film presents a grotesque and confounding view of technology and cringe culture, characterized by aesthetic disdain and thematic excess. Banerjee, a master of satire known for his incisive films that often border on observational comedy, seems to have reached a tipping point, delivering a narrative that feels like a venomous dispatch filled with raw irritation.

Like its predecessor, "LSD 2" is structured as a triptych, this time under the chapters ‘Like’, ‘Share’, and ‘Download’. The first segment introduces us to Noor (Paritosh Tiwari), a transwoman competing in a reality show akin to Bigg Boss. The plot takes a surreal turn when Noor’s estranged mother (Swaroopa Ghosh) joins the show, escalating the quest for viewer ratings into absurd territory. The second tale focuses on Kullu (Bonita Rajpurohit), a transgender janitor at a Delhi metro station grappling with the aftermath of a sexual assault. The final story centers on Shubham (Abhinav Singh), an 18-year-old gamer teetering on the edge of influencer fame.
