Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Star Sonam Kapoor Says 'Stereotypes Are Dangerous'
Sonam Kapoor said;,There are a lot of stereotypes in this world, and people's minds often become judgmental towards those who belong to this community.
Aik Larki ko DEkha to Aisa Laga has a story of same sex realationship but Sonam said that it is a coming of age romance. She is said that one is free to do anything, like if you are choosing your career, your studies you do what you like and what make you comfortable. Likewise, it is the same thing if you are getting married to a person belonging to a different religion or having a sexual partner with someone not from the opposite sex, or deciding to change your gender. Each and every person is unique in their own way, and has the right and choice to be like who they want to be.
When she was asked about the Movie showing Lasbian relationship and asked that in a country it is still considered as a Disease she told that So many of my friends have come to me and said their parents did not react when got to know about their same sex relationships. Instead, they were happy because their child was happy.

Sonam has also finished work on her next release, The Zoya Factor, the big screen adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's novel of the same name, which she will follow with another adaptation by Anuja Chauhan, Battle For Bittora. Fawad Khan was originally slated to star opposite Sonam in Battle for Bittora but things fell apart after the controversy surrounding Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. There was a demand for a ban on Pakistani artistes following the Uri terror attack in 2016.
