Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 (Movies of 2024)

In "LSD 2," a conceptual sequel to his 2010 thriller "Love Sex Aur Dhokha," Dibakar Banerjee delves deep into the shadowy realms of cyberspace, uncovering layers of cynicism and seaminess. This follow-up film presents a grotesque and confounding view of technology and cringe culture, characterized by aesthetic disdain and thematic excess. Banerjee, a master of satire known for his incisive films that often border on observational comedy, seems to have reached a tipping point, delivering a narrative that feels like a venomous dispatch filled with raw irritation. Like its predecessor, "LSD 2" is structured as a triptych, this time under the chapters ‘Like’, ‘Share’, and ‘Download’. The first segment introduces us to Noor (Paritosh Tiwari), a transwoman competing in a reality show akin to Bigg Boss. The plot takes a surreal turn when Noor’s estranged mother (Swaroopa Ghosh) joins the show, escalating the quest for viewer ratings into absurd territory. Th...

I have recently watched the movie Andhadhun and it captivated me completely. Its script was written by Raghavan, Arjit Biswas, Pooja Ladha Surti, Yogesh Chancdekar and Hemanth Rao.Its star cast consist of Ayushman Khurrana ( one of my favorite Actor), Tabu and Radhika apte (who is out of the way ,not suited in the roll). The movie revolves around Akash (who is played by Ayusman), he is a pianist and pretend to be blind and trying to finish his musical master piece. He accidentally met Sophie (Radhika Apte) who helped him as she find him blind and help him getting a job in her father's restaurant where he met the former actor Parmod Sinha who is married to Simi (Tabu). Parmod invites Akash to his apartment to perform for their wedding anniversary. When Akash arrives at Sinha's flat, Simi opens the door and is reluctant to let him in; however she does so when she sees her neighbour, Mrs. D'Sa, watching them. Simi, convinced that Akash is blind, lets him play the pi...

Simmba Movie Review

Image
Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer movie created hype before release. A sequel of Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster Singham and loosely adapted from Telugu hit Temper, Simmba seems like a product conceived by a marketing individualist. Ranveer Singh played the role of a bankrupt cop  Sangram Bhalerao or Simmba, he turns a blind eye to crime if the price is right. When Simmba, like Singham, gets transferred from hometown Shivgad to Miramar police station in Goa, he’s warned about local monopolist Durwa Ranade (Sonu Sood). But Simmba isn’t the kind to brush the baddies the wrong way as long as he’s rewarded for his ignorance. Sara Ali khan played the role of Shagun who runs a catering outfit in the neighbourhood catches the eye of Ranveer and their love story started. The film takes a dramatic turn when Simmba’s sister is cruelly raped and murdered and even while the accused happen to be in plain sight, telling substantiation goes missing. That is the turning point in the life of Si...
